Swimming with Dolphins

Hawaii’s ancestors held a deep and profound respect for dolphins, or nai’a. It’s a tradition the captains and crew at Ko Olina Ocean Adventures continue to honor and preserve, allowing our visitors to passively view the dolphins, but with a policy of no touching, and no loud or disruptive behavior. Our swim with dolphins procedure is to have our snorkelers assume a passive float position. The longer you hold perfectly still, the longer your dolphin encounter will last. Experience Oahu’s wild spinner dolphins in the Hawaiian tradition of respect for these beautiful animals.

Captain Todd and Captain Mick were some of the first to pioneer safe and non-intrusive dolphin encounters and whale watching with these wonderful ocean creatures. They now count 14 years in operation, with thousands of amazed, happy and repeat customers attesting to their success. They, and the rest of our captains and crew, continue Ko Olina Ocean Adventure’s tradition in providing Hawaii’s visitors with an adventurous, fun, memorable and safe ocean experience. Choose from the Following Rides
1 – Parasail Standard Parasail Ride – Fly 600 feet for 9-11 minutes
2 – Parasail Deluxe Parasail Ride – Fly 900 feet for 11-13 minutes
3 – Parasail X-treme Parasail Ride – Fly 1,200 feet for 13-15 minutes
• Non-Flying Observer – For those who are not interested in parasailing but would like to accompany friends or family.

The Boats
X-treme Parasail operates two custom parasail boats with all the latest safety features. The vessel is operated by USCG licensed captains and crew and carries 1,200 feet of line enabling them to offer you a wide variety of rides. They have two boats each able to carry twelve passengers each.

All rides includes roundtrip Waikiki transportation.
